Dr. Patricia Jantzen Abo, 70, of Glastonbury, loving wife of Richard Abo, passed away peacefully at home on Thursday, July 18, 2024 with family by her side. Pat was born and raised on Long Island, NY, daughter of the late Henry and Jean Jantzen. Her life's work was caring for animals as a veterinarian, which she did for 37 years. She practiced at Bolton Veterinary Hospital, Glastonbury Animal Hospital, and for 30 years at Tolland Veterinary Hospital where she was co-owner and provided loving care to countless animals. She was a loving partner of 48 years, married for 45, to her husband Richard. She is survived by her husband, her three children and their partners, Megan &Shaun, Kristy &Pavel, and Eric &Ale, her longtime friend Cathy Tuppo, and many extended family members including her beloved nieces and nephews.
